Right vs. Wrong. Good vs Evil. Righteous vs. Unrighteous. Truth vs. Lie. Real vs. Fake. Is it ok to make judgments like these? If so, who gets to make them? Our culture loves to play both sides of this. On one hand, there is no such thing as truth and absolutes. On the other, you must line up to the culture’s beliefs as though they were absolutes. Our task is to find out how a biblical worldview informs these things. As we begin our series in the Letters of John, what becomes clear is that he isn’t afraid to declare truth from a lie, and we shouldn’t be either.
